How to Raise a Resilient Child – When it comes to resilience we need to show our children how to manage their own particular feelings, what can come up in particular conversations, and what could also come up in school life. It’s about overcoming that level of adversity and allowing children to understand themselves better through the many activities and learning opportunities we provide.
How to Raise a Resilient Child
There’s a lot of ways you can help your child work on their resilience, that can both help your child with their enjoyment of school and of daily life responsibilities.

Raise a Resilient Child – Pose lots of problems in front of your child
The more problems they have to try and overcome, the better equipped they are to manage whatever life throws at them. It’s a good opportunity to help your child learn what sort of problems can come up in everyday life. Start from a young age with smaller problems, like if they make a mess on the floor or if a toy breaks. Then you can advance this further to helping them work out the best solution in a board game, or how to reach the goal with a football.

You might not think so, but these more practical approaches will help your child understand what a problem can look like and how it can be interpreted.
Raise a Resilient Child – Give your child the confidence to try
Confidence also goes a long way in helping children learn to manage their own problems and navigate life’s many obstacles. Resilience is something that can be explored through so many outlets that your child will slowly develop a lot of confidence and strength. From the sports they play, extracurricular activities and more, they will find the opportunities to grow in natural ways.

So a lot of ways can help your child with their resilience, which is where they will see a lot of growth in themselves. Try out lots of approaches that help your child with their confidence to see how well they manage.
